His postgraduate training includes an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular fellowship from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons’ St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital in New York; a coronary and cardiac CT fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health Center–Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland; and an interventional cardiology/ peripheral vascular fellowship at Wayne State University. Dr. Karl Duncan is boardcertified in interventional cardiology. Kurt Duncan, MD, completed his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. His postgraduate training includes an internal medicine residency from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan; an echocardiography fellowship from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; a clinical nuclear cardiology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut; and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at New York Medical College–Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. He also completed an interventional cardiology/peripheral vascular fellowship at Wayne State University–Detroit Medical Center with advanced procedural trainings in echocardiography from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, nuclear cardiology at Yale University School of Medicine and interventional/peripheral vascular training at Detroit Medical Center.
